Your mail client
should be on your side

A message is a web page somebody else wrote, and the default behaviour of a web page is to report back. ZeroIn is built so that most of what a sender hoped to learn about you simply never happens.

    Senders don't learn when you read — images are fetched while your mail syncs, never at the moment you open a message, which is the moment a tracking pixel is actually measuring

    Links say where they really go — click-tracking wrappers are unwrapped, tracking parameters are stripped from what you open and what you copy, and a link whose text disagrees with its address asks first

    A warning that says what is wrong — impersonation and lookalike domains are scored entirely on your device, in a sentence about that message rather than a red banner you learn to click through

    A verified sender means your own mail server verified it — not that the message claimed it, and only when the verified domain matches the address you are being shown
What else is built in — and what isn't

Some things are deliberately not built yet — there is no quarantine, and the message database is not encrypted at rest. The full list is on the security page.
